The values that guide the members of Grace Life Church are:

1.      Gospel of Jesus Christ:

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved from the penalty of our sin and be re-connected with God.

Romans 1:16-17 (TNIV) "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'"

2.      Love:

Because Christ demonstrated His love by giving His life for us, we obey His command to do the same by living sacrificially every day for the sake of others.

1 Corinthians 12:31-13:1 (NKJV) "But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal."

John 13:34 (TNIV) “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

3.      Spirit Led:

The Holy Spirit speaks to believers through his Living Word that leads believers in waging war against the sin nature.  The Holy Spirit glorifies God and edifies the church by revealing Jesus Christ in and through human vessels. The work of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the active presence of God in the world, and especially in the church such as 1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4.

Galatians 5:16, 18 (TNIV) "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature... But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."

Acts 1:5, 8 (TNIV) "For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit... But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

4.      The Bible is the Authoritative Word of God:

At Grace Life we believe all scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that all God’s people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,  so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

5.      Discipleship:

At Grace Life we believe followers of Jesus must be trained to grow in maturity so that they can also train others to follow Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19-20 (TNIV) "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
